Cloverfield 2 update

Speaking to MTV at the National Board of Review, JJ. Abrams offered an update on the possibility of a Cloverfield sequel:

“We’re working on something right now with that and again, you know, it’s early stages.”

If any movie does NOT need a sequel, it’s gotta be “Cloverfield”. I was pretty jacked for the original, but it was a serious letdown and I wanted all the characters to die horribly (which I believe they did). Mercifully, it only had a run time of about 65 minutes.

In fairness to Bad Robot, though, I am fully on board for MI4 and ST2 and even the possible Superman flick. Just no need for another “Cloverfield”.
