Last week saw Kirk Acevedo fired from Fringe after his “option” for season 2 wasn’t picked up, now there are growing (yet unconfirmed) rumours that Michael Cerveris, who plays the serene “Observer”, has also been dropped from the show.
The above screenshot (apparently from Cerveris’ Facebook) is currently doing the rounds on the Interweb, proving yet again the viral power of social media. Terrifying, isn’t it.
We wait, however, for confirmation – for all we know there could be a reasonable explanation, such as Cerveris prefering to remove his role as the Observer on his profile page. It won’t stop people speculating though.
