Shock, horror (or rather, thriller), JJ. Abrams and his Bad Robots are said to be developing a supernatural thriller movie based on the teenage ‘kissing in the closet’ game. You know the one.
The movie is called 7 Minutes In Heaven, but it looks like things start to get hellish from the 8th minute.
As reported by Heat Vision:
Called “7 Minutes in Heaven,” the original idea comes from Jack Bender, who most recently directed the final episode of ABC’s “Lost.” A longtime Bad Robot cohort, Bender signed a feature deal with the company in early June, and the “Heaven” project is his to helm. “Heaven” is being developed internally, but it likely will be set up at Paramount, the studio home of Bad Robot.
While the plot details are very hush-hush (no surprise there), it is believed to focus on two frisky teens who go into a closet for some lip-sucking action, only to find that all of their friends have been killed once they come out for air. Ah, young love. It’s a killer.
Hey, it doesn’t sound like a “Boilerplate” but it might be worth keeping tabs on.
