The official Undercovers website – www.undercoversweb.com, has been updated, slightly. The landing page now contains two rotating images of a news broadcast reporting the disappearance of the show’s lead characters, Samantha and Steven Bloom (portrayed by Boris Kodjoe). This is obviously aimed at setting the Undercovers premise and gives us some idea as to how Samantha and Steven came to be retired spies, or possibly how they came back into the spy game. Whether or not this will grow into an alternate reality game of sorts remains to be seen.
If you look carefully at the news broadcast images over on the official site, you’ll notice that we already have our first Undercovers eastereggs – including an Oceanic Airlines, Ajira Airlines logo and “815″. Fans of LOST will recognise the hat-tip to JJ. Abrams/Bad Robot’s island adventure which is beginning its final season in February.
